GQ: What effect do friction and gravity have on motion?

CW:  Today we demonstrated how Newton's 1st Law of Motion related to a nickel dropping into a jar when the index card was "flicked" out of the way.  Also, cornell notes were taken on force, inertia, balanced and unbalanced force.  A short video also demonstrated Newton's 1st Law.

HW: none....QUIZ and IAN check on Friday!!  Start studying now!!

EQ: What is the relationship between potential & kinetic energy?

GQ: What happens to energy when it is transformed?

CW: Students took a metric quiz and worked on graphing the data from two of the lab stations from last week on potential and kinetic energy.

HW:  Finish graphs...DUE at beginning of class.

**I am really proud of the students today...they took a few tips from me, focused on the task of graphing, and most of the graphs looked above average!!  Good Job!!

EQ: What is the relationship between potential & kinetic energy?

GQ: What happens to energy when it is transformed?

CW: Students had 15 minutes to complete yesterday's launch lab, including analysis and conclusion.  We then started the lab stations on potential & kinetic energy (IAN #46,47,48,& 49)

HW:  IAN will be taken up Friday so the Launch Lab can be graded and IAN check.
