Week of September 10, 2007

Parents have you seen the note in the back of your child's IAN?  Please read, sign and leave comments. Thanks!

Monday:  Tutoring today from 4:30 - 5:30.  Students are wrapping up "Energy" Labs and graphing data showing the relationship between potential and kinetic energy.

Tuesday:  Students are to write formal lab report using the CCSD lab format found in the back of IAN.

Wednesday:  Tutoring and Make up lab today from 4:30 - 5:30.  Students are taking Cornell Notes on kinetic and potential energy and the Law of Conservation of Energy.  Ask you child to demonstrate for you.

Thursday:  IAN circle today from 8:00 - 8:40.  Bring your breakfast!  Quiz over chemistry (periodic table, atoms, elements, compounds, mixtures, molecules, potential energy, kinetic energy, and Law of Conservation of energy).  Help your child to study by using their IAN and also have them explain each of the key words above.

Friday:  Begin "Motion" lab.
