The Final Stretch

We are nearing the finish line for this school year, but there are many important things left to do. Even though we are in the final stretch of this school year, the remaining time is very important. When we feel tired and ready to cross the finish line, remember we must perservere to the end and not quit. Students must come to school every day ready to learn. Good attendance is shown to impact school performance. Please be on time to school and all classes. Teachers are in the process of preparing  students for yearly standardized tests to show their academic achievement this school year. Learning continues to take place every day in class. Students often need extra encouragement at this time of the year. Let's work together to  push through to the end and experience the joy of giving our best effort. Those efforts will help students achieve the goal of high school graduation in a few short years. With a high school diploma come many more opportunities for a better life. I care enough for our student to have the very best of what life has to offer. Ihope you do to.

Getting On Track for Graduation

I am thankful to have the kind of job that allows me to provide encouragement and support to students who might not have anyone else rooting for them. School success requires hard work, dedication and talent, in addition to someone in the background urging them to put forth the effort by making good choices, completing assignments, and asking for help when needed. Every day, I have the opportunity to encourage students to make better choices that enable them to remain in the classroom to learn the necessary skills to pass their classes. Students must learn that the choices they make today will affect their tomorrows. I want each CMS student to know their high school graduation date and set that as a  goal. The high school diploma will give them many more opportunities, freedom and self-respect.
