6th Grade

Students are finishing their study of Australia and Oceania this week.  They took Cornell Notes on governments and economics of the region.  They have a test on all of Australia and Oceania on April 4th.

6th Grade

6th Grade

Week of February 20th

6th Grade

Students are starting their study of Canada.  They are completing a map of Canada and will have a quiz on Friday on the map.  Attached is the maps and the list of places they need to label.

7th Grade

Students are continueing their study of Hinduism and Buddhism.  They have completed Cornell notes on both religions.  Student should be studying their notes daily.

8th Grade

Students are studying the causes and effects of WW II on the United States and Georgia.  Students have completed Cornell Notes on World War II.  Students are working on a web quest on World War II, timlining causes and effects of the war.

6th Grade

6th Grade students have a test on February 15th on Latin America this week.  They will have a notebook check on Latin America.  Our next unit will be Canada and we will be studying the physical features.  The review sheet is attached.

7th Grade

7th grade students are studying the religions of Hinduism and Buddhism.  We will be looking at the origins andbasic beliefs of each of these religions.

8th Grade

8th grade students are rewriting their persuasive essays on FDR.  We will be studying WWII and the US and Georgia's role in in.

6th grade

Students are studying the governments and economies of Latin America.  There is no quiz on these notes but students will have a test on Latin America on Friday, Febuary 15th.

Students are starting their study of Asia this week.  We will be studying Ancient Asian history next week

8th grade

Students have a test on Monday, Febuary 11th.  The test will be from the End of Reconstruction to the New Deal and the Great Depression.  Their review sheet is attached.
