The counselors at Campbell Middle School believe:

Campbell Middle School's comprehensive school counseling program should:

Be driven by academic, career, and personal/social standards of the American School Counselor Association.

Be created and implemented with school and community stakeholders to meet the needs of all students.

Be evaluated using data to illustrate the impact the school counseling program has on student achievement while using the results for program improvement.

Will adhere to the ethical and professional standards as advocated by the American School Counselor Association.

Will participate in professional development to stay knowledgeable of new tools and strategies that will maintain an effective comprehensive school counseling program.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to implement a standards based comprehensive counseling program that provides pertinent scholarly information and support for overcoming barriers to learning while preparing one to compete and succeed in the global society.
The Counselors:
6th Grade: Mr. Russell Meziere
Mr. Meziere received his B.A in history from Morehouse College and his M.Ed in School Counseling from the University of West Georgia. He served as an officer in the U. S. Coast Guard for 14 years prior to becoming a counselor. Programs of special interest to him since he has been at Campbell include: Peer Helpers, Elite Gentleman’s Club, and Bullying Prevention Week.

7th Grade: Ms. Cinde Santner
Ms. Santner is a National Certified Counselor who received a B.S., M.S. and Ed.S in Psychology and Counseling from Florida State University. She has been a School Counselor at Campbell for the past 10 years after briefly working in the mental health field. Programs of special interest to her since she has been at Campbell include: Salvaging Sisterhood, Peer Helpers,and Power over Prejudice. Ms. Santner was named Cobb County Middle School Counselor of the Year in 2009.

8th Grade: Mrs. Mirna Wynn
Mrs. Wynn received her B.A in psychology from Georgia State University and her M.Ed in School Counseling from the University of West Georgia. She was a middle school teacher for 5 years before becoming a counselor. Programs of special interest to her since she has been at Campbell include: Junior Achievement, Peer Helpers, and Multicultural week.
