Begining Unit 2: Factors & Multiples

This week we are begining Unit 2: Factors & Multiples. The standard for this unit is  M6N1: Students will understand the meaning of the four arithmetic operations as related to positive rational numbers and will use these concepts to solve problems.

This unit will be covered in the textbook lessons: 4-1 Divisibility;  4-2 Factors and Prime Factorization; 4-3 Greatest Common Factor; and 5-1 Least Common Multiple. The Parent Letter Download Math6Unit2ParentLetter 09-10 may also offer some insight on this unit.
