Accelerated Reader at CMS

We are into the 3rd nine weeks of using the Accelerated Reader Reading Enhancement Program at CMS.  Information sheets on each students' progress toward their reading goal were distributed during the Student Led Conferences in late January.

Students' reading goals are set by their Study Skills teachers for each grading period, based on the STAR test which shows students their reading level.  The STAR test was administered in August and December. The final STAR test of the year will be in May and will show students' progress over the course of the year.

www. arbookfind.com is the website that can be  used to see ALL Accelerated Reader books that have accompanying reading practice quizzes. Quizzes on any AR book may be taken at school even if the book is not a CMS media center book.
