Welcome Back!
The Greek philosopher Plato once wrote, "The beginning is the most important part of the work." I'm sure many of you have heard the expression, "You only get one chance to make a first impression." Webster's dictionary defines beginning as "the first thing to be considered".
Everything in life, including school, has a beginning and, as you can already see, it's very important. Even though this is my 13th year at Campbell Middle School, it's a beginning for me as your teacher and I can't wait to get started (er, begin)!
So whether you are a returning student or new to Campbell, let's work together so that at the end we can "Look with favour upon a bold beginning." Virgil (Roman epic poet 70 B.C.-19 B.C.)
