This week we will be learning the basic elements of Art. How does an artist use line? What does color mean and the relationship they share? How can these elements create a better composition? We will be creating a castle drawing that will emphasize line shapes and colors.

We started our first project working and learning about the 5 different types of line; Veritcal, horizontal, diagonal, curved, and zig zag. Their assignment was to create a drawing of a medieval castle using the 5 types of line. The castles had to be drawn with a ruler and outlined in sharpie marker to create a dymanic affect.
