I hope you had a wonderful summer break and are ready to become experts on the great state of Georgia and its role in American history.
I will use this site to provide handouts, internet links, assignment due dates, and other helpful tips to encourage your success in my class. HOWEVER, your primary source for homework assignments is on my whiteboard (which I always orarally explain). Use the blog as a back-up because sometimes I am unable to update the blog due to technical problems or because of other issues. Also, take the initiative to "phone a friend" if you need more info about an assignment before class the next day. I will reply to your emails, but often I don't check emails in the evening after you have emailed me. My syllabus will be posted after we discuss it in class.
If anyone wishes to donate tissues or hand sanitizer, I will all be so grateful! I am looking forward to an outstanding year.
